Northwood Children's Services is recruiting for a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living and work environment at Northwood.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Assure that living and learning environment (bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, school, play areas, etc.) are safe, clean and neat.
•Perform work tasks as assigned by supervisor, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, watering of plants, washing windows, laundry, stocking supplies, decorating, assisting with special events, etc. Assist with coverage for coworkers on vacation, etc.
•Be a role model to children and co workers by keeping building clean and safe.
•Mentor work experience students, as assigned.
•Recommend changes or improvements in housekeeping practices to supervisor.
•Assure that living and working areas are pleasant and attractive, report any issues to supervisor.
•Review the monthly Northwood calendar to be prepared for agency events, functions, etc.
High school diploma preferably with 1 or more years of work experience.
